This is an unusual little plant, similar to the cape gooseberry in that the fruits are produced on a small shrub and are covered in a distinctive papery lantern. This variety produces green / whitish coloured fruit. They are easy to grow and unusual, while the fruits are abundant and used for sauces and jams. Sow Spring and Summer Sow 3mm deep in a sunny position, ideal soil temp of 22-25 degrees, emerge in 7-30 days. Harvest approx 72-80 days after sowings
