This is an excellent bottling variety, great for sauces and stews but also tasty fresh. Its fruit is very solid, and shaped like a long heart with a tapered end. Very large and meaty. Sow in Spring and Summer or all year in warm northern areas. Sow 5mm, seedlings emerge 10-14 days, space 50cm apart. This variety requires staking, can grow to 2.5m. Harvest approx. 82 days after sowing
