This is an old variety developed by a Fransiscan monk in Palermo, Sicily and has smaller flowers than many common sweet peas but is sweeter smelling and has good heat tolerance. Prefers a sunny position and well-drained soil.

Sow Spring, Au-Win in warmer zones Soak seed overnight, then sow 10mm deep at 18-20 degrees C, germinates 14-22days.
