This variety produces thin leaves with mottled red colouring. Mizuna is an unusual japanese mild mustard plant whose leaves are generally used in salads and picked when young and tender, can be used like salad rocket. It does best in the cooler times of the year and is quite hardy in rainy and cold weather. Darker colouring in cold weather and full sun. 
Sowing time - All year, best in cooler times
Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 6-10days
Harvest in approx 40-60 days after sowing
