Climbing Bean – ‘Indian Bora Bean'

This variety, also known as bora bean, bodi, Chinese long beans, produces very straight green beans which eventually turn red as they dry. Beans are approx 20-30cm long. They are highly productive, extremely nutritious and delicious and are much easier to cut for stir fries and stews than regular beans. Does well in tropical climates. Sow during early spring when soil is 21-30 degrees C, requires slightly warmer soil to germinate and grow than most beans. Sow 25mm directly in final position, seedlings emerge 6-10 days, space 15cm apart. T
