This ancient plant has grass like leaves with small white flowers. The seeds are used to flavour mexican and indian dishes and the young leaves make a nice addition to salad mixes. Requires a long warm growing season.

Full sun to part shade
Sow 2mm deep
Frost sensitive. Seeds germinate best at 18-28 degrees C soil temperature. Soaking seeds overnight before sowing may increase results.
