This is a unique variety with purple skin on the outside and yellow inside. Some people find it has a slightly spicier flavour than most carrots but the taste is really pretty similar to regular carrots. Even so, it looks great in gourmet dishes and is an excellent talking point for your kitchen garden. Sow Spring, summer and autumn Sow 5mm, seedlings emerge 10-21 days, space 10cm apart. Harvest 16-24wks after sowing
