This variety produces mini golf ball sized onions with reddish purple skin and a sweet mild flavour. Also known as a pearl onion, it can be harvested young and used like spring onions or harvested as an onion and used in a multitude of dishes. The small size means they mature much faster than regular onions and even germinates quicker than regualr ones. Great for salads and general cooking. Good for small spaces as the compact form allows for closer plantings.

Sowing time - Au-Win Prefer sunny position, sow 2mm deep, emerge 10-14 days space seeds 1cm apart and rows 10cm apart, don't thin. Harvest in approx 60 days after sowing
