Kale 'Black Toscana' / cavalo nero / Cavolo Nero

This is an old Italian heirloom variety with long narrow blistery leaves. Kale is an extremely healthy food source used in stir fry, fresh in salads or general vegeatble cooking such as boiling and steaming. This variety is excellent for cut and come again use, may persist for many years in the garden.
Sowing time - Sp-Su cool areas, late Su-Au in warmer areas.

Prefer sunny position, sow 6mm deep, emerge 6-10 days Harvest in approx 50-60 days after sowing
