Marigold 'Tiger Eyes'
Tagetes patula
Approx. 50-100 seeds
This is a dwarf variety of marigold producing bushy plants with double flowers that are crested yellow in the centre and deep red double petals around the outside. As the flowers fade they become mottled yellow and red (first image). Very striking as a border. Good for attracting bees and butterflies.
Sow in Spring to summer in cool zones, Au-Sp in hot climates - best success when soil temperature is around 22 degrees C. Sow shallowly about 2-5mm deep and keep moist.
