Native to Mexico, this perennial succulent is perfect for warm climates and sandy, poor soils. Loves dry hot conditions and needs a frost free climate. Produces a 'foxtail' like flower, usually after 10 years from seed. 

Sowing time - Spring to summer Sow on the surface, press down and cover very lightly. Sow at 25 degrees c, emerge 21-42 days. Keep moist.
