Spinach
'Perpetual'
approx 50 seeds
Excellent cut and come again vegetable, perfect for baby leaves and full size leaves. Resistant to downy mildew and slow to bolt, this is not a true spinach but actually a variety of silverbeet, however it has smaller, thinner leaves similar to spinach. It is easier and longer growing than true spinach so makes a good alternative particularly in warmer climates.
Sowing time - Plant after last frost in cool areas or in the cooler months in warm climates
Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 10 -14 days
Harvest in 8-12 weeks after sowing
