This variety of basil is also known as sacred basil or Tulsi and has green leaves and pink flowers. Tulsi produces lots of flower spikes very early in the season, making it a nice ornamental plant as well as edible. The scent is very strong, even walking past it you can clearly smell its delicious minty and musky scent.
Annual growing to approx 45cm
Sow at 23 degrees C soil temp, Au-Sp warm areas, Sp-Su cooler areas
Prefers a sunny position, sow 5mm, germinates 10-14days
