Rockmelon - Piel de sapo / Christmas melon / Santa Claus melon

The Santa Claus melon, sometimes known as Christmas melon or piel de sapo originated in Spain, grows to about a foot in length and is oval in shape. It has a thick, green-striped outer rind and pale green to white inner flesh with a mild melon flavour and sweetness close to honeydew melons.
Plant in Spring and Summer and in tropical regions Au-Sp, in clumps of 2-3 seeds, 10-20mm deep, leaving 100cm between seedlings, will emerge in 6-10 days
