Rhubarb 'Crimson'

This is a great variety of rhubarb which produces red stems which are used for pies and sauces for their delicious tart flavour. Sow in Au and Spring - Best in cooler climates Sow 20mm, seedlings emerge 5-8 days, space 90cm apart. Rhubarb is perennial so should be planted in an area where it will be undisturbed Harvest approx. 20 weeks after sowing, however rhubarb grown from seed usually requires a year of growth before a heavy yeild is produced.
