Garlic Bulbs – Early Purple
Organically grown
each bulb contains approx 6-10+ cloves / planting pieces
This variety of garlic produces medium to large sized white skinned bulbs with pale purple striping and striped purple cloves.
Hardneck variety
Well suited to climates with cool winters and hot summers.
Sow in Au-Sp in cool zones or now for warmer zones
Plant each clove separately so that the tops of the bulbs are just below the soil surface, with the pointier end facing upwards, plant 10cm apart
Harvest about 8 months after planting once the stalks go brown. Leave to dry under cover in a ventilated area, usually by hanging, for 2-3 weeks.
