This is a hardy biennial which produces tall candle like spikes with little purple and blue flowers in a variety of shades. Its great for cut flowers, allowing multiple cuts. Great also as a background plant in cottage gardens. Attracts butterflies and tolerates frosts. Biennial Sow Sp-Au Prefers a sunny position, sow 3mm at 20+ degrees, germinates 10-20days. Recommend chilling seed in fridge for 4 days before sowing.
