Soy Bean / Edamame

This bean variety is well known as a multipurpose plant. On the one hand it makes an excellent green manure to put nitrogen into your soils orgaincally and on the otherhand you get a great harvest of pods whose beans can be dried and boiled for use in the kitchen. Great for making your own flour and tofu. Please note that Soybeans should never be eaten raw and should always be boiled for health reasons. Sowing time - Early Spring after last frost -Frost Sensitive- Prefer sunny position, sow 25mm deep Harvest in approx 100 days after sowing
