This a perennial herb that has been traditionally used as a tonic treating arthritis, alleivating pain, promoting lactation and other herbal remedies. Nettle has been traditionally used in homemade cordials and beers. It can also be cooked and used like spinach or used as an organic fertiliser in permaculture systems to improve N in soil and encourage beneficial insects. Spreads easily via seed and runners so ensure it is planted somewhere where it won't become invasive.

Sow in Autumn or late winter
Note this seed requires cold scarification and germination may be eratic but will germinate well over time.
