MEDIUM tubers
Maris Piper has a golden skin and creamy white flesh with a fluffy texture. This makes it a versatile all rounder, great for chips and roast potatoes, but also good for mash and wedges.
Sowing time -Cool climates - After last frost August-October Temperate Climates - Mid July - October Warm / Tropical climates - April-August
Prefer sunny position, prepare bed deeply at least 25cm down, soil should be friable to avoid odd shaped potatoes. Sow in 10cm deep furrows with 25 cm between tubers and 75cm between rows. Fertilise well. Large tubers can be cut so long as each half has an eye or sprout
