This small shrubs grows to 60cm and is an attractant for bees whilst repelling moths and flies. Its aromatic leaves can be used in cooking, especially with lamb dishes and can also be used to improve the memory.
Rosemary has a naturally lower germination rate than many herbs, you can expect germination of around 50%.
Sow in Spring and Summer Sow on surface as it needs light to germinate, 23-25 degrees C soil temperature, use a spray gun to keep moist and/or cover seedling tray with plastic to maintain temperature but keep out of sunlight. Seedlings emerge within 21 days. Perennial plant so grows for many years
