Pumpkin - ‘Giant Butternut'
also called Butternut Rugosa, Violina or Wrinkled Butternut
6 seeds
This is a great variety, widely agreed to be superior to the regular butternut pumpkin in both taste and ease of growing. The pumpkins themselves are indisputably bigger, being over 6kg in weight, twice the size in length and much bulkier with a slightly wrinkled appearance at the stem. Well worth growing! Sow in Spring and Summer when temperatures are 20-28 degrees C Sow 20mm, seedlings emerge 5-8 days, space 90cm apart. Harvest approx. 15 weeks after sowing
