This is a perennial commonly grown as an annual. Marjoram is very useful in Greek dishes and is also related to oregano. It can be used in vinegars, soups, salads, roasts and tomato recipes. Traditionally it symbolised youth, beauty and happiness. The leaves are dark green and velvety whilst the flowers are white Sow in Spring and Summer. Sow on surface –needs light to germinate, seedlings emerge 10-14 days at 21-27 degrees. Recommended germination method - Surface sow on pre moistened, premium seed raising mix in a seedling tray, cover with cling wrap (with a few holes poked in it) and keep out of direct sunlight but at 22-26 degrees C. Keep moist at all times with a misting gun and you should see results within 14 days
