This is a great little shrub native to the Americas, producing berry like fruit with an interesting sweet taste and smell similar to grapes. Plants are similar to cape gooseberry in growth habit except that they will creep over an area and produce roots at points touching the soil. Good for pots. Fruits can be eaten straight from the plant or used in deserts, jams and sauces.
