GERALDTON WAX / Chamelaucium uncinatum

Native to WA, this shrub grows up to 3m but in garden situations they can be managed as a much smaller bush. The plant has needle like foliage and good drought and dry tolerance. Very popular for cut flowers in bouquets due to the long lasting flowers and leaves. Leaves are edible and can be used like rosemary but has a more citrus like flavour.
Perennial
Prefers non-humid climates but can tolerate some humidity.
Germination can be difficult and slow, soak overnight in warm water before sowing. Germination may take many months, don't discard seed if they don't come up quickly, they should eventually emerge.
