This is a mixture of ornamental cabbage varieties, well suited to growing in cooler climates. Ornamental cabbage is generally only used for ornamental purpose and not for eating and is excellent for landscaping, borders or adding some flair to flower arrangements. Colouring is best in cool climates, especially with frosts, they're not likely to colour well in hot or humid climates. Try ornamental Kale for warmer zones.
Note this is an open pollinated mix, colour and shape will vary greatly. Best uniformity is seen in hybrids of the type.
Sowing time - Late Summer-Autumn try to sow 6-10 weeks before likely first frost date. Best in cooler climates and has frost tolerance. Prefer sunny position, can survive in part sun, sow 6mm deep, emerge 6-10 days, feed well Harvest in approx 50-60 days after sowing..
