This is an excellent medicinal plant which is also edible. The flowers have a faint scent and make an excellent addition to wild flower gardens. Leaves can be used in salads and stews, roots can be eaten like parsnip. The seeds are said to have medicinal properties.
Recommended germination method - Surface sow on pre moistened, premium seed raising mix in a seedling tray, cover with cling wrap (with a few holes poked in it) and keep out of direct sunlight but at 18-22 degrees C. Keep moist at all times with a misting gun and you should see results within 35 days
Sow in Spring and Summer for cooler climates, hot climates plant Spring - Autumn, Tropical sown in dry season.
