Climbing Bean 'Succotash'

This North American heirloom produces large blue / purple flat beans that almost look like corn kernals. Pods are short and fat, green with a mottled pattern, best grown as a dried bean type. Grown by American Indians and used in the traditional dish 'Succotash' which was thought to have been served at the original thanksgiving.
